The Cottage School Multipurpose Gymnasium
Our sixth project for The Cottage School in Roswell, Georgia was the design and construction of their Multi-purpose Gymnasium. Not only did the client have a strict budget, but they wanted the structure to blend into their campus and philosophy of smaller classroom size and personalized education. The 15,000 square foot pre-engineered structure was designed specifically to fit within their budget. For the design we used Hardi-Plank, board and batten, and heavy timber beams to make the larger steel structure blend in with overall campus. The building houses a basketball court, locker rooms, weight room, wood shop, art room and a raised stage. The facility was designed with a phase two addition in mind for future expansion.
